  • Ready for the biggest BBQ contest of the year? Register your team to join us on Saturday, September 28, 2019. Here is your need-to-know information:

    TEAM SETUP BEGINS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 at 5PM.

    COMPETITION INFORMATION
    • Compete in any combination of 4 categories including ribs, chicken, pulled pork and brisket.
    • Register early and save! Registration fee of $55 per category when you register and submit your payment by June 14. After June 14, pay $60 per category.
    • You must compete in all 4 categories to be eligible for overall grand champion.
    • There is a mandatory meeting for head cooks during setup on Friday, September 27.
    • Each team will be required to fill out a W9 form before competition in the event of any winnings. This will be completed at or before the mandatory head cooks meeting on Friday, September 27.
    • There is no additional fee for electricity. It is available on a limited basis. If you have your own generator, use of is is encouraged.
    • Registration & payment deadline is Friday, September 6.

    PAYMENT INFO – REGISTER EARLY AND SAVE!
    Register your team early and save! Register and submit your payment by June 14 and pay $55 per category. Register and pay between June 15-September 6 and pay $60 per category. Final registration deadline is September 6.

    Registration may only be paid by cash, check, cashiers check or money order. Please make checks out to Scheels Home & Hardware. You may drop off payment at the Customer Service Counter located inside Scheels Home & Hardware OR mail your payment to Scheels Home & Hardware with ATTENTION: ND BBQ CHAMPIONSHIP at 3202 13th Avenue South, Fargo, ND 58103.

    STANDARD BOOTH SIZE
    Standard booth space is 15′ x 20′. If you have additional requirements, please note that in the registration below. There is no additional fee for extra booth space.

    COMPETITION T-SHIRT
    Each team will receive ONE free SCHEELS ND BBQ t-shirt. If you would like additional shirts for your team members, they are available for purchase for $10/each. In order to ensure we have your sizes and quantities, you MUST include this information with your registration. Please include the fee for each additional shirt in your registration payment.
